Eligibility: To be eligible, a book must be a first edition full length novel or short story collection, written by a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada. For each year's award, eligible books must be published in Canada in English during the preceding year. Books must be submitted by publishers according to the Details and Rules of the Prize.
