Eligibility: Any genre. Previously unpublished. Entrants may be any age. Story must be 2,500 words or less.
Value: The Humber School for Writers Prize - Writing course, value up to $1,000
The Random House/Knopf/Vintage Canada Prize - Books, value $1,000
The Chapters Prize - Gift Certificates, value $1,000
The Marketron Notebooks Plus Prize - Sharp PC 3000 Personal Computer, value $500

Further Details: There is a fee of $20 per story ($20 U.S. for entries from outside of Canada). Name, address, phone number and story titles must appear on a separate page. Entrants will receive or extend a one-year subscription to B & A New Fiction for each story submitted. The five winning stories will be published in the Summer issue, B & A #31, June 1998.
