Multiple Sclerosis John Alexander Media Awards
Deadline: January 31, annually
Eligibility: There are two awards: one for newspaper or magazine writing, in either English or French, and the other for radio and television broadcasting, in either English or French.
Value: $500 will be awarded to each winner.

Description: The goal of the awards is to encourage excellence in writing and braodcasting about multiple sclerosis. It was established to honour the late John Alexander's contribution to increasing public awareness of MS in Canada.
Further Details: The 2009 award submissions are due on January 31, 2010 and must have been aired or published in general circulation media between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.
Entries will be judged on their excellence in bringing before the public thefacts about multiple sclerosis. Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judges and the MS Society.
