Connexions is an independent non-profit research organization and information clearinghouse (founded 1975) which produces electronic and print resources supporting social, economic and environmental alternatives, human rights, civil liberties, and grassroots activism. We are a volunteer-based organization. We are looking for volunteers and interns with solid computer skills to help us develop our databases and online search capabilities. Areas where we need help include SQL databases, PHP, Linux, and HTML. We are also looking for volunteers with design skills to help improve the look and design of the Connexions website. There are also opportunities for editors, translators, photographers, people to help maintain the Connexions directory of associations, people to help develop our online archive of social change materials, and people with fundraising and marketing skills. www.connexions.org
