POSITION SUMMARY: The VIP is seeking a freelance writer to focus on grant writing and other agency communications such as our quarterly newsletter. This position will identify prospective private foundation, corporate and government grant funding. This is a contract, non-benefited, hourly position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelors degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 3+ years of significant grant writing and communications experience; preferably within a nonprofit organization. - Must have demonstrated success in private foundation grant writing and government grant writing. - Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
