World Vision is a relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Motivated by our Christian faith, we serve the world's most vulnerable people. We are best known for our sponsorship program, through which Canadians sponsor more than 500,000 children overseas. World Vision also works to engage the Government of Canada, policy makers, other NGOs and Canadian supporters on policy change issues relating to the well-being of children in developing countries. World Vision serves approximately 100 million people in nearly 100 countries, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
