Bruce Power is Ontario's largest independent generator of electricity, producing enough power from its facilities on the Lake Huron shoreline to safely and reliably supply 15 per cent of the province's needs. With four operating reactors and plans to restart two more by the summer of 2003, Bruce Power is a partnership among British Energy, the U.K.'s largest electricity generator, Cameco Corporation, the world's largest uranium fuel supplier, the Power Workers' Union and the Society of Energy Professionals.
