The Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) is a non-profit organization established in 1960 to represent the nuclear industry in Canada and promote the development and growth of nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes.
Nuclear energy in Canada generates 14% of Canada's electricity and almost half of Ontario's without polluting the air. It employs over 25,000 people in industry, government and other organizations involved in the nuclear field including uranium milling, mining and processing, developers and operators of nuclear power plants and facilities, electrical utilities, nuclear medicine, aerospace and automotive research, and manufacturing, engineering, consulting and educational institutions.
