Dr. Mark Tremblay speaks on
the growing heart disease epidemic at Can-Fit-Pro 2007

In a session sponsored by Remington Sport, Dr. Mark Tremblay will
present the latest research behind the growing problem of coronary
heart disease and the role fitness professionals can play in helping
reverse the current trend. Dr. Tremblay is a Professor of exercise
physiology and pediatric exercise science and former Dean of Kinesiology
at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Tremblay is a Fellow of the
American College of Sports Medicine and of the North American Association
for the Study of Obesity; an Adjunct Professor with the Canadian
Research Institute for Social Policy (CRISP) and is currently Chair
of Active Healthy Kids Canada. Dr. Tremblay has published extensively
in the areas of childhood obesity, physical activity measurement,
exercise physiology and exercise endocrinology. Dr. Mark Tremblay
session replaces Dr. Pipe's session.

About the show:
The Can-Fit-Pro Toronto International Fitness and Club Business
Conference and Trade Show, to be held at the Metro Toronto Convention
Centre from August 16 to 19 is set to attract over 6,000 fitness
professionals and fitness enthusiasts from 25 countries. Participants
will be exposed to industry trends in fitness equipment, sports

Trade Show hours of operation are Friday August 17, 2007 from 12:00

while admission for non-delegates is $20 at the door. Free media
