Lung Association introduces new
website,
RSS feeds
The Lung Association is excited to announce the launch of its new
website. Our new national website - www.lung.ca
- builds on the quality online lung health information that Canadians
have come to rely on.
Our new site features a fresh design, expanded health content,
and a brand-new media room. Visit the media room to arrange an interview
with one of our lung health experts. The Lung Association can provide
a
national view of lung health and related issues, expertise and commentary
from across the country. While you're on the lung.ca site, sign
up for one or more of our RSS feeds. The Lung Association's RSS
feeds are a
great way to get lung disease headlines delivered to your desktop.
About The Lung Association
For over 100 years, The Lung Association has been dedicated to its
mission of improving lung health for all Canadians. A non-profit
and volunteer-based health charity, we depend on donations from
the public to
support lung health research, education, prevention and advocacy.
The Lung Association works at the national, provincial and community
levels to improve lung health. We focus on chronic lung disease
like asthma and COPD, infectious diseases TB, flu, and pneumonia
and
breathing disorders like sleep apnea.
We also work to prevent lung disease by informing people about
the health effects of air pollution, indoors and out. We help smokers
who are trying to quit, and we provide educational material and
programs to make
sure fewer people take up smoking. We encourage governments at every
level to create laws and policies that promote clean air and protect
our lungs.
When you cant breathe nothing else matters.
