SoccerWorld at The Docks:
2006 FIFA World Cup
June 2006
Dear World Media,
The world's largest spectator event and the most important competition
in international football - the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Thirty-two
of the world's best teams are playing in some of the most exciting
sporting matches until July 9th, 2006.
Soccerworld and The Docks Entertainment Complex would like to invite
you and your readers/listeners/viewers to come to celebrate the
World Cup 2006!
We have put in place a massive celebration of exclusive World Cup
parties, Soccer Tournament (Toronto's Mini-World Cup 2006) plus
an exclusive VIP pass to view the World Cup games in multiple VIP
rooms throughout The Docks Entertainment Complex in multiple HUGE
video screens. For the enjoyment of the game, SoccerWorld at the
Docks will be broadcasting the latest games on all of the televisions
at Tides, Spike's Club House, and the Patio Bar.
To get everyone in the World Cup spirit we will have team memorabilia
such as team flags, whistles, wristbands, and score cards. Our headquarters
will be located behind guest services.
We will be in operation between 11:00 am - 11:00 pm Monday to Thursday
and 11:00 am - till late on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There is no better way to spend your time this summer than sitting
in the sun by the lakeshore surrounded by soccer fans, and watching
the most exciting football matches.
The Docks Entertainment Complex, (see http://www.thedocks.com),
is the Canada's largest entertainment complex, with a capacity of
10,000 people, a 40,000 sq. ft. patio and a multiplicity of outdoor
and indoor activities.

Canada's largest indoor- outdoor soccer facility by the water, which
will produce a 30 day World Cup 2006 exhibiting, contesting and
merchandising.
We are approaching you for 2 reasons:
1- We would like to facilitate a few VIP invitations for you to
give to your audience. (Minimum of 500 person per media) and create
a unique and exclusive atmosphere at our complex for you and your
audience (there will be places to display banners, product display
etc. As well there are a few official merchandizing offers for you
to give away to consumers (see www.sixp.ca).
2- We are looking for Soccer teams and leagues to participate in
a Mini-World Cup at the Complex (2 week tournament 50/50 prize cup)
that will run on Saturdays July 1st and July 8th during the World
Cup.
Toronto is the world's most culturally diverse city and the right
place to celebrate a World Cup and Soccerworld and The Docks are
ready to carry thru this celebration from June 2006 to next year's
World Cup 2007 (under 20) which is taking place in Canada
