HELPING SENIORS MAKE THE MOST OF RETIREMENT
Metro Credit Union presents day of workshops

(TORONTO - SEPTEMBER 29, 2003) A symposium to be held at the end of October will educate retired or soon to be retired people about options for leisure time, saving tax, avoiding fraud and estate planning.

This event is sponsored by Metro Credit Union with the help of the Volunteer Centre of Toronto.

The Time of Your Life Seniors Symposium will include the following workshops:
· Fresh Start: Options for leisure time available upon retirement, presented by the Volunteer Centre of Toronto
· Secrets to Saving Tax During Retirement
· True Tales & Stories About Estate Planning
· Protect Your Money - Schemes, Scams & Flimflams, presented by the Ontario Securities Commission.

The Symposium will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at the Metro Central YMCA, 20 Grosvenor Street, Toronto in the Auditorium. (The Metro Central YMCA is located two blocks north of the College TTC station at Yonge & College in downtown Toronto. Parking is available on Grosvenor Street across from the YMCA.) Doors open at 9:30am and the first seminar starts at 10am. The event ends at 3pm and a complimentary lunch will be served from 11:45am to 1pm. Cost for the event is $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
