Raising a glass to the 12th annual Niagara New Vintage Festival, June 9 - 17, 2007

(St. Catharines, Ontario) We are about to draw the cork on Niagaras Premier Spring Wine Event -- the Niagara New Vintage Festival which attracts 30 of the Regions award winning wineries and provides a veritable smorgasbord of activities, entertainment, cooking demonstrations and, of course, the opportunity to be among the first to sample Niagaras newest vintages.

The festivities kick-off with the Dairy Farmers of Canada Cheese & Wine Seminar Series, June 9 and 10, hosted by two of the areas most celebrated restaurants, Wellington Court in St. Catharines and Treadwell in Port Dalhousie, respectively. Your next Wine and Cheese party will never be the same, having expanded your appreciation of all things fermented under the tutelage of cheese expert Kathy Guidi and two of Niagaras top sommeliers.

Join top celebrity hosts Anna Olson (Food Networks Sugar) and Rob Rainford (Licence to Grill) as they dazzle you with their culinary expertise and demonstrate how to get the most flavour out of the summer season; there will even be an opportunity to bid on the brand new Weber® grill that Rainford will use for his demonstration.
