Announcing...
The Sources
HotLink
Spring 2006
April 3, 2004
Sources is pleased to announce the publication of
the Spring 2006 issue of The Sources HotLink, the
newsletter about media relations. HotLink
is a free newsletter published by Sources, the directory
for the news media, and is also available at www.hotlink.ca.
This January, we introduced another free service for Sources
clients, to help you publicize your events to the media. The
Sources Calendar is an online calendar
which enables you to bring your public meetings, conferences, festivals,
shows and other events to the attention of editors, producers, and
journalists. The Sources Calendar is quickly proving to be
very popular, with hundreds of events already posted. Users have
praised the design of the Sources Calendar which, among other
things, allows events to be filtered by location, date, and subject
matter the same attention to usefulness and informational
quality that marks Sources itself.
Because you are listed in Sources, you can post your
events in the Sources Calendar for FREE.
Just go to the Sources Web site - www.sources.com
- click on Sources Calendar on the main menu, then click
on Add an Event. You will be prompted for your username and
password. These were sent to you earlier this year: if you've misplaced
yours, just give us a call at 416-964-7799.
Don't forget that being listed in Sources also enables
you to post news releases - free - on the Sources
Web site. This is another excellent way to bring your accomplishments,
statements, and point of view on current issues to the attention
of the media. Submit your release directly by E-mail, or, for more
information about setting up and distributing your release, go to
www.sources.com
and click on Disseminating
Your News Releases.
