John M. Collier Award for Forest History Journalism

Deadline: Continuous.
Eligibility: Journalists who have published on forest and conservation history in newspapers, trade press, or general circulation magazines or who demonstrate a strong interest in forest and conservation history.
Value: A Forest History Society Award. As part of the award, the winner will be provided an expenses paid visit to the headquarters of the Forest History Society in Durham, NC to meet with staff and explore its library and archival resources. The award will also include a fellowship to an Institute for Journalism in Natural Resources (IJNR) Expedition. See http://www.ijnr.org.
