The CMN is Canada's premier natural history museum, housing over 10 million specimens. It conducts research in Canada and around the world in mineralogy, botany, zoology and paleobiology. Dynamic educational programs and exhibits at CMN's downtown Ottawa galleries, as well as travelling exhibitions, share the wonders of nature with Canadians.

Le MCN est le principal musée canadien en sciences naturelles. Ses collections comptent plus de 10 million de spécimens et ses spécialistes effectuent, au Canada et ailleurs dans le monde, des recherches dans des divers domaines : minéralogie, botanique, zoologie et paléobiologie.
