RAN seeks to protect the Earth's rainforests through education, grassroots organizing and non-violent direct action. They do so using campaigns to expose the wrongdoings of governments and corporations and mobilize the international environmental and human rights community to join in the action via the Internet. They are currently working on a variety of issues including global finance, old growth, and emissions and climate change, and are educating in classrooms around the world.
