Helix BioPharma Corp. is the result of an amalgamation in August, 1995 between Helix Biotech Ltd., a publicly traded company engaged in DNA identity testing, and Intercon Pharma, a private pharmaceutical and laboratory products company based in Ontario.
Through its six wholly-owned subsidiaries, Helix BioPharma Corp. develops, licenses, markets, and distributes quality bio-medical and pharmaceutical products and services domestically and internationally. The company has exclusive, world-wide rights to novel anti-infective technology. The company actively pursues the development of additional bio-medical products and technologies.
