Marine Atlantic Inc.
Marine Atlantic, operator of Canada's two largest icebreaking superferries, is Newfoundland's ocean highway to the mainland. Year-round service is provided between North Sydney NS and Port aux Basques NF, with a seasonal alternative to Argentia NF. In 1998 the federal Crown corporation celebrated the centennial of its primary route.
