Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA)
The OPA is the provincial branch of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. It is a voluntary professional association of approximately 3,000 registered physiotherapists working in private practice and institutional settings. The OPA promotes high standards of practice and professional development. It represents the interests of its members by negotiating with government on issues of economic and professional welfare and by communicating with other health care professions and the community at large on issues of public interest and health care planning.
