Canada Post Strike and its impact on local charities

You may have heard that there is a postal strike affecting the delivery of mail across Canada. A disruption of this scope has a large impact on charities like Emmanuel International Canada located in Stouffville, as we receive a large number of donations and support through the mail.

While the strike won’t stop gifts from reaching us by mail, it will take longer than usual.
The postal strike is also impacting the delivery of our Christmas Catalogue. This is the busiest time of the year for us, leading up to Christmas and New Year’s said Richard McGowan Executive Director Emmanuel International Canada.
