Apparel Company Strengthens its Position in the Ultraviolet Market

Toronto, ON – Seasons UV Solutions of Milton, Ontario has acquired the Bluzoo Line from the Brazilian based company, Bluzoo Swim. In a deal reached this spring with Bluzoo USA Inc. (the parent company of Bluzoo Swim) sees Seasons UV Solutions take over Bluzoo Swim for the next 10 years. Included in the deal are specific license provisions, joint venture initiatives and the securing of proprietary technologies which gives Seasons UV Solutions a definitive competitive edge in the UV Apparel Marketplace.

Though no financial details were released, it is speculated that the deal will substantially increase Seasons UV share of the North American market, therefore translating into millions for the company.
President of Seasons UV Solutions, Joanne Speight said, that she was pleased to have the Bluzoo Swim as part of the Seasons UV Line. “Bluzoo’s sun protection philosophy, attention to quality and technical advancement in the ultraviolet apparel industry mirrors that of our own, thus, it was a good match for us” stated Speight.

Seasons UV Solutions will be launching into ultraviolet swimwear with four specific Bluzoo lines for 2011, which will be introduced this July at SWIM 2011 in Miami Beach, Florida.
