Shadowlands is a British biographical drama film about the relationship between Christian theologist, writer, and professor C.S. Lewis and Jewish American poet Joy Davidman. Loosely based on Lewis's own account in his book entitled A Grief Observed, the film follows their relationship, Joy's death from cancer, and how this challenges his Christianity.
