Women Talking is an American drama film based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Miriam Toews, which was itself inspired by the true story of the Bolivian Mennonnite gas-facilitated rapes that took place from 2005-2009 in the settlement of Manitoba City, Bolivia. The film follows a group of American Mennonite women who discuss their future following the discovery that the colony's men have been raping its women.
