The City of Calgary W.O. Mitchell Book Prize

Deadline: December 31, annually

Eligibility: Fiction, poetry, non-fiction, children's literature and drama. Publication date no later than December 31 of the previous year. The author must be a Calgary resident on December 31 of the event year and for a minimum of two years prior.

Value: $5000 cash prize.

Description: The City of Calgary Book Prize is awarded in honour of acclaimed Calgary writer W.O. Mitchell and recognizes literacy achievement by Calgary authors.
