The Writers' Trust of Canada/McClelland and Stewart Journey Prize


Deadline: January 15, annually

Eligibility: Short stories written by new and developing Canadian writers, and published in a Canadian literary journal. Only submissions from literary journals are accepted.

Value: $10,000 to the writer, $2,000 to the literary journal that originally published the winning story. The winner and other stories that have been long-listed are published annually by McClelland & Stewart as The Journey Prize Stories.
