Eligibility: Canadian authors published in Canada within the previous two years. Writing must be on subjects of Jewish interest, within the categories listed below.

Description: Eligible writing will be part of the following categories: first novel, fiction, poetry, biography/memoir, children and young adult, biblical/rabbinic scholarship, * Canadian Jewish history, Jewish history, scholarship on a Jewish subject, original translation from Yiddish or Hebrew, Yiddish writing, * Holocaust history, memoir or literature, literary criticism, feminist literature, Jewish culture. * In these categories only, books may be published outside Canada, due to lack of publishing in these areas in Canada.

Further Details: TWO copies of each book should be submitted. Please include complete mailing addresses for both publishers and authors.
