Description: The Drainie-Taylor Biography Prize was created in 1998 in the name of two men who made significant contributions to culture and entertainment in Canada. Taylor is the founder of Cineplex, and Drainie was one of Canada's first generation of actors. These two outstanding citizens are linked through writer and actor Claire Drainie Taylor, who was married to John from 1942 until his death in 1966, and subsequently married Nat Taylor.

Further Details: All Canadian-based publishers may submit two books. Six copies of each title are required, as well as two copies each of a press-kit with the author's bio and an entry form. Please visit Writers' Trust site for details.
