IFIC Welcomes Two New Members

July 10, 2015

Toronto, ON – July 10, 2015 – The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) announces that Botica Capital Management Inc. and TWMG Inc. have become members of IFIC, effective today.

“On behalf of our board and membership, I am pleased to welcome Botica Capital Management and TWMG,” said Joanne De Laurentiis, IFIC’s president and CEO. “IFIC provides a forum for industry participants to work together to effectively serve investors’ needs. Each new member broadens our understanding of industry concerns, and strengthens our ability to represent the full spectrum of industry and investor interests.”

Founded in 2003, Botica Capital Management Inc. is a financial boutique, offering highly specialized advice and products through a personalized service.

TWMG Inc. is a financial group and investment dealer offering comprehensive financial solutions that allow clients to make sound decisions and accomplish their investment goals.

“We look forward to the input of these two companies as the industry works together to empower investors to make sound financial decisions and as we promote a strong and stable investment sector,” De Laurentiis added.

IFIC has about 150 members and affiliates. Its members are fund managers or investment dealers. Affiliates are non-manager, non-distributor industry participants who provide services to managers and dealers in areas such as technology, asset and fund administration, fiduciary services, technology, legal, and accounting services.
