Professional Women Facing An Uncertain Business World - "What Next?"

April 21, 2009

Are you in transition? Perhaps you′ve been laid off or are worried that you might be. Whatever the scenario, you′re not alone. "What Next?" is an opportunity to explore different career options and revisit long-held dreams.

Founder of Company of Women, Anne Day, explains, "As an organization that supports women and provides learning opportunities that assist women in realizing their potential, we have a role to play in supporting women in transition."

Working in small groups, to ensure individual support, participants will learn to re-evaluate their strengths, skills and interests, build a plan and their confidence. Based on their needs, women will be linked to the right people and resources to help them take their next steps.

"What Next?" is sponsored by Company of Women, Centre for Skills Development and Training, enSpire Coaching Inc., Hampton Inn by Hilton, and People at Peace.

This unique program will start April 23, and meet every two weeks until June 4, 2009, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Hampton Inn, 2085 North Sheridan Way, Mississauga. Cost is just $25 + G.S.T. each session. For more information or to register, visit www.companyofwomen.ca or telephone (905) 338 1771.
