TV program Ottawa, April 27, 2003 OMNI TV will air a special four part series on the deliberations and discussions with representatives of community organizations who attended a national conference held by the Canadian Ethnocultural Council (CEC) on October 25-27, 2002 in Ottawa. The conference "Looking Back, Looking Forward: Building Strong Ethnocultural Communities" was held in partnership with a number of organizations including OMNI TV, The Institute on Governance, The Law Commission of Canada, The Association for Canadian Studies and Multiculturalism Program, Canadian Heritage, OMNI TV will broadcast segments of the CEC special on the following dates: Sunday, April 27, 2003 Sunday, May 4, 2003 Sunday, May 11, 2003 Sunday, May 18, 2003 Over a hundred participants, from across Canada from diverse communities engaged in participatory activities and dialogue. "This kind of conference allowed for various perspectives to be communicated and for reciprocity to occur between culturally diverse organizations.
