London Health Sciences Centre is one of Canada's largest teaching hospitals after the recent merger of University Hospital and Victoria Hospital. Dedicated to excellence in patient care, teaching and research, our new hospital has a capacity of 976 beds and 40 bassinets, and a staff of almost 7,000 caring for more than half a million inpatient, outpatient and emergency patients annually. Our premier programs are Clinical Neurological Sciences, Life Support, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Medicine, Cancer Care, Multi-Organ Transplantation, Women's and Children's Health, Reproductive Medicine and Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine.
