Toronto Venture Group
Incorporated in 1990, Toronto Venture Group is a not-for-profit organization with the mandate to "Bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and finance." With the support of a volunteer board of directors, TVG has built the scope and influence of its mandate by delivering a number of arenas for start-up and growth company entrepreneurs to present their investment opportunities to interested private equity investors. TVG hosts VentureFair, Canada's premier venture capital showcase, and recently formed the Toronto Angel Group (TAG), a member-based assembly of individual investors in privately held companies. In addition to the annual VentureFair and bi-monthly TAG Investment Dinners, TVG holds monthly breakfast meetings featuring high-profile keynote speakers.
