Waddington's is Canada's oldest and most internationally recognized auction house. In business for more than 150 years, Waddington's employs about 40 staff, including specialists in the decorative arts, Canadian art, International art and many other collecting categories. Auctions range from the contents of Maple Leaf Gardens, to some of the finest art in the world, and even bi-weekly estate auctions that are a bargain hunter's dream.
Waddington's continues to grow and in 2002 partnered with Joyner Fine Art to form Joyner Waddington's Canadian Fine Art. Waddington's recently expanded with offices in B.C. and Collingwood in an effort to better serve all its clients across Canada. Waddington's growth recently led to the creation of a new auction facility in Brighton, Ontario, which features many of the items previously found in the weekly estate auctions, now in an exciting "country auction" atmosphere.
