Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind (CGDB) is a charitable organization, established in 1984, which trains visually-impaired Canadians with professionally trained guide dogs. Qualified applicants receive 4-weeks' training free, including return transportation to the Training Centre south of Ottawa. CGDB is a member of the International Guide Dog Federation.
