The Presbyterian Church in Canada The Presbyterian Church, with its roots in the Protestant Reformation, is today strongly involved in the modern ecumenical movement. The national office is composed of the offices of the General Assembly, the Life and Mission Agency and Support Services. There is a Bookroom, Women's Missionary Society, and an excellent and highly regarded archives. The Life and Mission Agency has the following departments: Canada (including native ministries), International, Justice, Church Vocations, Education, Communication, Planned Giving, Stewardship, Mission Education and Presbyterian World Service and Development.
