Algonquin College serves the National Capital and environs with training in the technologies, trades, business, health sciences and applied arts. With 12,000 full-time and 55,000 part-time students, the College is committed to training for employment.
Most courses and programs are suitable to University or High School graduates. There are several professional certificate programs. The College also provides assistance with employee training and re-training to business and industry in the region.
