Media coverage for your story
Anitech Enterprises Inc.
Anitech operates PetNet, Canada's pet recovery database of over 195,000 micro-chipped pets. The PetNet micro-chip, coded with an identification number, is the size of a grain of rice, and painlessly inserted under the skin of a cat or dog by a veterinarian using a syringe.
PetNet offers 24 hour animal recovery services, and its chip is available in over 970 or 70% of Canada's small animal clinics and 450 shelters. In 1996, over 170 new veterinary clinics joined PetNet. Last year PetNet helped animal shelters reunite over 5,000 lost pets with their owners.
