Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta
Representing more than 33,000 professionals, APEGGA regulates the practice of engineering, geology and geophysics in Alberta in the public interest. Our members use their expertise in areas as diverse as resource development, construction, public works, transportation, agriculture, manufacturing and processing. APEGGA also sponsors annual teacher awards and student scholarships to further the quality of math and science education in Alberta, and promotes awareness of the value of science and technology (particularly with regard to its member professions).
PUBLICATIONS: The PEGG (10 times/year), The Heart of Discovery (a publication commemorating APEGGA's 75th anniversary), APEGGA Annual Report, career information and technical guidelines.
