Box 733 Winnipeg, MB R3C 2L4 The National Party of Canada was formed November 19, 1992 by 50 Canadians led by Mel Hurtig of Edmonton. The party has a major objective, the elimination of patronage in our federal political system, democratization of elections and economic renewal in Canada. The party has published a book A New and Better Canada by Mel Hurtig, outlining policies in detail. The party does not accept donations from corporations or unions.
