Pan-Canadian Stakeholders to
Participate in Symposium on Child and Youth Mental Health
TORONTO - Sept. 12 - Over 100 child and youth mental health stakeholders
will gather at the National Invitational Symposium on Child and
Youth Mental Health to develop a national perspective on the key
issues pertaining to child and youth mental health, a key priority
of the recently appointed Mental Health Commission of Canada. The
National Symposium is intended to articulate views and perspectives
on the establishment of a Canadian child and youth mental health
strategy. The Honourable Michael Kirby, Chair of the Commission,
and Dr Stan Kutcher, Sun Life Financial Chair in Adolescent Mental
Health, are the guest speakers.
