The National Campus and Community Radio Association/ L'Association nationale des radios etudiantes et communautaires (nc
The NCRA/ANREC, founded in 1981, represents its members' concerns to Federal and Provincial communications departments, as well as to the CRTC. Each year the NCRA/ANREC holds a national conference to exchange ideas amongst its members in every facet of broadcasting--from federal regulations and budgetary management to programming concerns, of both musical and spoken word varieties. The NCRA/ANREC maintains the nation's most complete documentation centre on campus and community radio broadcasting in Canada, and publishes a monthly National Music Chart available by subscription. Currently the Association is searching for funding alternatives for its National Office, and its members: better access to government grants, patrons and associate memberships, and corporate gifts are being solicited to help the Association.
