at Third Annual Journey to Success Conference

Successful CHFI radio personality, Erin Davis will show what it means to Live Out Loud, as this year′s Luncheon Keynote speaker at the Company of Women′s third annual Journey to Success Conference on June 16, 2009, at the Oakville Conference & Banquet Centre.

After nearly 15 years, neither Erin Davis nor her hundreds of thousands of listeners saw it coming.
Her morning radio show had been at or near the top of the Toronto ratings for longer than most people could remember. Then, one day, it ended; it was decided that she was no longer needed.

In her keynote address, "Living Out Loud" you'll hear stories of her upbringing as an Air Force brat: how her constantly changing address taught her how to make friends and fit in. You′ll learn how she learned to poke fun at herself before the other kids could do it, how she stumbled into radio as a career - one for which she was perfectly suited - and how she rose rapidly to the top and stayed there.

Erin will share the challenges she faced on the way up - a strong woman trying to make it in a field dominated by men and her ongoing battle to balance her professional and personal lives.
Erin Davis has been a fixture on the Canadian radio landscape for over 25 years. Her celebrated return to 98.1 CHFI in September 2005 is the latest stop on a fascinating journey, which has seen her at the top of the radio ratings for her entire career.

Erin was honoured to be named 2006 Women of the Year for the Greater Toronto Area after a public survey by the Consumers Choice Award.
