MORE THAN A FEW GOOD WOMEN

TORONTO, ON – Company of Women presents, `More Than a Few Good Women′; an evening event on September 23 at Toronto′s Verity Club where guest speaker and small business expert Catherine Swift will discuss women′s growing role in today′s economy.

An estimated one million women will enter the Canadian entrepreneurial market-place by 2010. Catherine Swift, President of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, is a leader is assisting women small business owners by consulting with the government about their needs. In 2003, Catherine was recognized by the Women′s Executive Network as one of the top 100 most powerful women in Canada.

"Catherine′s mission is to be the big voice for small business in Canada," said Anne Day, President and founder of Company of Women, "attendees will benefit from her expertise regarding the Canadian marketplace as it pertains to women business owners."

Tickets for `More Than a Few Good Women′ are $55 plus GST for Company of Women members and $65 plus GST for non-members. The event takes place from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. Attendees will be given ample networking time. Tickets include a three-course dinner. To register, visit www.companyofwomen.ca.
