Telling Your Story: Speaker Series

WATERLOO, ON – On September 30th at the Waterloo Inn, as a part of the Company of Women Rogers sponsored speaker series, `Telling Your Story′ initiates the first of three `Connect, Communicate, Create′ series events featuring expert panellists on getting businesses noticed.

Keka DasGupta, public relations (PR) professional, Lynn Haddrall, Editor-in-Chief of several publications and author Tsufit of "Step into the Spotlight! – `Cause All Business is Showbusiness": A Guide to Getting Noticed will comprise of the panelists for this event. Keka DasGupta is a seasoned PR practitioner and was the national spokesperson for IKEA for seven years. Lynn Haddrall is responsible for the editorial departments of The Waterloo Region Record, the Guelph Mercury and Grand Magazine.

"Each of our panellists knows exactly what will launch a business into the limelight," said President and Founder of Company of Women, Anne Day, "with so many new businesses vying for public interest, this event will help attendees distinguish themselves from the mainstream."

Tickets to this event are $30 plus GST for Company of Women members and $40 plus GST for non-members. Each series event is from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. To purchase tickets to the entire series, the cost is $80 plus GST for members and $110 plus GST for non-members.
